COUMADIN CLINIC: Safe use of the anticoagulant, Coumadin, requires careful monitoring and regulation of the drug. We understand the importance of providing such a service to meet the needs of patients taking Coumadin. The Clinic is under the supervision of the physician. We have a committed staff consisting of an experienced Registered Nurse. We have an on site lab where the fingerstick method is all that is needed to obtain your Protime blood results. Once your test is completed you will receive the results, instructions, and your next appointment will be scheduled. This service is offered by appointment to help expedite your visit. We will provide each patient counseling and educational materials to help you achieve and maintain appropriate Coumadin control.
